History
The idea for the website began when I read Les Misérables; the novel made a real impact on me and all I wanted to do was discuss the book with other people. This is where co-founder Chris Pickersgill and I decided to develop Bookrants.com, a free and open community where people could join to discuss any book they like.
With the help of friends Jenny Henson and Craig Allan this idea has been turned into a reality. The website has now been launched and we look forward to seeing people from around the world sharing their thoughts and opinions on the books they read.
